Charles Sanders is a dedicated advocate for single parents and their children in Detroit, Michigan. Growing up in a challenging environment, Charles witnessed firsthand the struggles many families face, particularly those without a father figure at home. This inspired him to establish the Group of Ambitious Leaders (GOAL), a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive support to both single mothers and single fathers. GOAL aims to address the academic, spiritual, financial, and emotional needs of these families, reflecting Charles's commitment to making a lasting impact in his community.

 In 2015, Charles experienced a life-changing event with the tragic passing of his beloved mother, Peggy Jackson. This loss served as a wake-up call, reminding him of the importance of living a life true to his values and dreams. Despite his success, Charles found his job at Chrysler increasingly unfulfilling. In 2023, after 11 years with the company, he decided to leave and invest in a biohazard remediation franchise. This business venture provided the necessary funds to build up GOAL, allowing him to pursue his passion for helping families in need and honoring his mother's legacy. 

 Under Charles's leadership, GOAL has become a beacon of hope for countless single-parent families in Detroit. The organization offers tailored programs that empower both single mothers and single fathers to navigate the complexities of raising children alone while fostering a nurturing environment for their children. From tutoring and mentoring to financial planning, entrepreneurial building, and spiritual guidance, GOAL's holistic approach ensures that families receive the support they need to thrive. Charles's unwavering dedication to his mission is fueled by his desire to create a brighter future for the next generation and to inspire others to join him in this important work. He believes that every child deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of their circumstances, and that through faith and community, anything is possible.
